Ciclosporin eye drops are for dry eye that has not responded to conventional treatment. It acts as an anti-inflammatory; efficacy is not immediate and it may take some time to relieve symptoms.
Cequa (preservative-free) eye drops should be used as a second line option for patients who cannot tolerate Ikervis.
