Gonadotrophin-Releasing Hormones
Triptorelin is the only licensed treatment for Central Precocious Puberty (CPP) in children. This will be initiated in paediatric endocrine outlier clinics provided across K&M by tertiary centres. Common practice is for an initial dose of 3.75mg (lasting 4 weeks) to be given in secondary care, to confirm no adverse reaction, before changing to the longer acting formulation.
